Working with metal is one of my greatest joys. I am a dancer, naturalist and silversmith with a keen eye, strong hands, an open heart and a deep well of wild creativity. My work is bold, wild and full of soul. I create unusual and imperfect jewellery pieces that are intended to be worn and cherished as a form of wild self-expression and a brave appreciation of all things handmade.

 I am deeply inspired by indigenous and ancient cultures across the continents, weaving stories around the pieces that emerge from my hands in much the same way that indigenous people weave meaning into everything that they do. When I’m not at my bench, I’m planting locally indigenous wild gardens for homeowners around Cape Town. I am profoundly nourished by the great outdoors. The natural world provides another endless source of inspiration for my work.
