Hand-carved knife-edge silver band with glass Evil Eye cabochon. The blue glass Evil Eye has long been used most famously among the Ottomans as a talisman for protection against the evil eye curse, said to be given by a malicious and often envious stare. This little eye came back with me from my travels in Turkey in 2003.
