I am a contemporary jeweller & creative facilitator based just south of Cape Town. I cherish all things handmade for their individuality and authenticity. I absolutely love dancing and appreciate any opportunity to dress up. I am deeply inspired by the adornment practices of traditional and ancient cultures across the continents, weaving stories around the pieces that emerge from my hands in much the same way that indigenous people weave meaning into everything that they do. When I’m not at my bench, I’m usually somewhere in my garden or the great outdoors, observing forms and textures in the natural world which provides another endless source of inspiration for me.
