I found a handful of these striking banded agate cabuchons in a tucked away curio shop in Old Delhi. They struck me as eyes from another realm, staring inquisitively at me from the bowl where they lay. The stones were smooth but unpolished when I bought them; I really love the subtle matte finish.
This ring is a bold piece, featuring a brass & copper double-bezel setting and a wide sterling silver shank. The ring has been oxisidised to allow the subtle colours of the stone to take centre stage.
This is a once-off piece, size O.
