Any class(es) may be cancelled & fees refunded if there are less than two students registered for the month.
The workshop can accommodate up to four students per class, providing a cosy and intimate learning environment.
Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced per month (4 classes): R 1 300
Drop in class (intermediate/advanced only): R 380
Full semester (4 months, 10% discount): R 4 970
There will be no classes on public holidays. Fees for months with five weeks will be calculated pro-rata. All fees exclude materials & consumables.
Full monthly fees are payable in advance and no refunds will be given for missed classes. For those attending on a month-to-month basis, invoices will be emailed to you in advance on the 25th of each month and are payable on presentation. Intermediate/advanced students wanting to drop-in are required to book and pay for their class in advance. Any bookings cancelled less than 24 hours in advance will unfortunately not be refunded. Because of the limited space in the studio and the admin required to manage bookings, classes that have been booked and paid for are unfortunately not transferable.
Orient Road, Lakeside (Zandvlei)
All classes take place in our fully equipped jeweller’s workshop, with everything you need for basic metal work. You are welcome to purchase your own tools as you go along to use in class or at home. Metals (silver, brass, copper), consumables and a small range of findings are available for sale in the studio.
Please note that this studio is not licensed to work with gold or platinum. We will gladly put you in touch with gemstone suppliers and other suppliers to the industry as and when you need them.
